This series of small tables was inspired in conjunction with the Magazine Chair; it began as a search to create furniture from paper, so established origami techniques were researched which led to many models being produced.

The cubes reduce in scale making it feel precarious like it shouldn’t hold up, which reflects the nature of origami sculpture.

The cut out corners while being attractive also create a large and strong contact surface for the blocks to be fixed together.

The blocks are all hollow and fixed by a pole that runs through the centre.
